Our Mission
For nearly twenty years, I had the privilege of serving as a pastor and providing faith-based counsel to people navigating life’s greatest challenges. Over those years, I sat with individuals facing grief, broken relationships, spiritual struggles, church hurt, uncertainty, and countless other difficulties that life can bring.
One thing became increasingly clear to me:
Many people simply don’t have a pastor.
Some have never attended church but desire faith-based guidance from someone who will listen with compassion and understanding.
Some faithfully attend church but feel uncomfortable discussing certain personal struggles with someone they see every week.
Some have difficult biblical questions and would appreciate another perspective from a fellow believer.
Ironically, during my years in ministry, there were many times when I needed a pastor myself. I discovered that many other pastors felt the same way. Pastors spend their lives caring for others, yet often have no one to turn to when they need encouragement, guidance, or simply a listening ear.
Long before I served as a pastor, I was a church member who occasionally needed wisdom and perspective from someone other than my own pastor. Along the way, I also met many wonderful people who never attended church but still had sincere questions about God, Scripture, faith, marriage, divorce, grief, and life’s deepest struggles.
That is why Pester the Pastor exists.
